Jhon Hernandez
Latin Grammy-winning musician, pedagogue, and transpersonal therapist. His musical career began in Venezuela, where he learned various instruments and musical styles until he became part of «El Sistema» and immersed himself in the world of classical music. As a cellist with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, Jhon participated in numerous international tours and worked with world-renowned conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Sir Simon Rattle, Lorin Maazel, Gustavo Dudamel, among others.
He has a master’s degree in pedagogy, as well as various studies in the fields of autism, trauma, transpersonal psychology, and breathwork. Jhon has been living in the German-speaking part of Switzerland for 16 years, and for the past 10 years, he has specialized in the education of students with special needs, developing her own methodology of music education.
As a facilitator and researcher of Amazonian traditions and breathwork, he is constantly engaged in trainings, personal development processes, and diets in the Amazon, with Taita Ángel Alberto Chindoy, the Yawanawa tribe, and at Takiwasi Center.
Jhon is a student at the ICEERS Academy as well as the Grof Legacy Training in Transpersonal Psychology and Holotropic Breathwork.
